Pathetic attempt by Cassese to cut costs by fitting cheap elasticated cord to their underpinners rather than the tried and tested stainless steel cartridge springs fitted to previous models.
Early version cs1, 2, 20 had a short cord fitted whilst the later models use the longer length cord.
